Proteomic Workshop:
Proteomic is a powerful method for the large-scale analysis of the protein samples from various sources including different organisms, cells, tissues and body fluids. Especially, comparative proteomics approaches provide detailed information to tackle basic, applied and clinical research questions. For example, comparison of the patient samples with the healthy controls in the proteome levels can be used for bio-marker discovery, drug response and changes in the post-translational modifications. In the theoretical part of the workshop, we aim participants to understand the basics of proteomics analysis and get information about different analysis methods. In addition, the workshop will include hands-on training on sample preparation methods for proteomics research, LC-MS/MS analysis and bioinfomatic analysis of raw data.
Upon completion of the workshop, the participants are expected to be able to design their own proteomics experiments, prepare the samples and make basic interpretation of the results. All participants will be issued certificate of participation.
The participation to the workshop is limited. Master/doctorate students, post-doctorate researchers, tutors, clinicians and interested parties from the industry can apply to participate in the workshop. The candidates are asked to send their short bio (CV) and a motivational note explaining what they want to gain from this workshop and how this workshop will impact their career. Applications will be accepted until January 15th 2020 and accepted participants will be selected and informed after this time. All invited candidates will be asked to complete their registration to the workshop including full payment of the registration fee.
