Glycomics and Glycoproteomics Analysis Workshop
 
In this workshop, we aim for participants to grasp the fundamentals of glycomics and glycoproteomics analysis and provide hands-on training on mass spectrometric approaches used in glycomic and glycoproteomics analysis.
 
Theoretical Course
Tandem Mass Spectrometry and Applications: (peptide sequencing, CID and ETD mechanisms, MaxQuant and Mascot parameters

Analysis Approaches used in Glycomics and Glycoproteomics: Comparison of approaches and applications used in glycan and glycopeptide analysis.

Sample Preparation in Glycomics and Glycoproteomics:  Glycan Releasing, labeling, derivatization and purification of glycans, enrichment and analysis of glycopeptides.

Identification and Quantification of Glycoconjugates: Introduction of software and approaches used to identify and quantify glycans and glycopeptides.
 
Hands-on Training
-              Sample preparation steps in glycomic and glycoproteomic analysis (using clinical samples)
-              Glycan analysis with MALDI-MS/MS and HPLC-HILIC-FLD-MS/MS, Glycopeptide analysis with nLC-MS/MS
-              Interpretation of glycomics and glycoproteomics analysis data
